2009 UPPER DECK BALLPARK COLLECTION BASEBALL is back and better this year. Upper Deck "fixed" the fundamental problem with last year's set by numbering all of this year's dual, triple, quad, six, and eight piece memorabilia cards; rookie autographs; and base set cards. There are THREE memorabilia cards or ONE autograph and TWO memorabilia cards per pack (with at least one quad memorabilia card per pack). Each box yields one "Ballpark Rookie Autograph", one autographed memorabilia card, one six swatch memorabilia card, AND one eight swatch memorabilia card. Look for all new UD Spokesmen dual, triple, quad, six, and eight swatch memorabilia cards featuring Upper Deck's greatest spokesmen. Also look for memorabilia cards featuring all-time legends Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams, the 500 Home Run Club, and Upper Deck's 20th anniversary retrospective.

2009 ICONS BASEBALL is hoping for the success of its football predecessor. Like football, each box will yield one autograph, two lettermen, and two jersey cards.

Check out the back cover of May/June's Football Beckett to see the NEW autographed College Letter Patch and College Logo Patch cards debuting in the upcoming 2009 BOWMAN DRAFT PICKS FOOTBALL. Each box yields one of the above plus 1 autographed rookie base card (hard signed, meaning signed on card). Bowman has an all new look for this year as well as an earlier release date (next week in fact!).

2009 PHILADELPHIA FOOTBALL will be one of the next products to use a previously issued, popular design, updated with today's players. Both the 1960's Philadelphia and 1935 National Chicle sets will be represented (National Chicle looks similar to Goudey, and is smaller in size than a typical card). Insert sets include NFL Stars in Action, Philadelphia Signatures, The Story of Barack Obama, Woodstock 40th Anniversary, The Vietnam War, and The Election Years. There will be one autograph, two jersey cards, and one oversized 5 x 7 National Chicle R311 box topper per box.

Score Select Football is now renamed Score Inscriptions Football. 2009 SCORE INSCRIPTIONS FOOTBALL will contain three autographs, six rookies, four parallels, and four inserts per box. This year's set will include 1989 Score Reprints as well.

2009 DONRUSS CLASSICS FOOTBALL will feature one cut signature of a deceased player per 16 box case.

2009-10 UPPER DECK DRAFT EDITION BASKETBALL will be available the week of the draft and feature 4 autographs per box. Besides the NEW rookies, autograph'ers include Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, O.J. Mayo, and Magic Johnson. All autographs are sequentially numbered; and each pack contains an insert, signature, or numbered parallel card.

2008-09 UPPER DECK EXQUISITE BASKETBALL promises hand collation by Upper Deck staff to assure value for collectors. Signed boxes are back, and each regular box guarantees one autographed rookie numbered to 225 or less and an autographed patch numbered to 100 or less (among other cards).

TOPPS TERMINATOR SALVATION MOVIE CARDS guarantees 1 Authentic Autograph and either a Sketch Card or a Movie Memorabilia Card per box.

14 of the 20 boxes in a case of 2009 DONRUSS AMERICANA will yield TWO autographs instead of one.

2009 TOPPS UFC is back, following the extremely popular and short printed first issue, which sky rocketed from less than $100 to $300/box in value. Each box yields two autographs and two relic cards. There are 150 base cards in the set, with 100 UFC fighters, 40 UFC Debuts, and 10 Personalities (Octagon Girls, Cut Men, Referees, etc.).

TK LEGACY bought the rights to make PBA (Professional Bowling Association) cards from Rittenhouse Archives. Their first release, TK LEGACY 2009 PBA 50th ANNIVERSARY TRADING CARDS will be a "mini box", to allow an affordable box price for collectors. There are 11 cards per mini box, including 2 autographs, 8 base cards, and one insert (48 mini boxes per case). Signers include Walter Ray Williams, Pete Weber, Mark Roth, Norm Duke, Marshall Holman, and Dave Ferraro.

Panini has cancelled the upcoming 09 Donruss Century Collection Baseball product.

Topps is complying with a request from Major League Baseball to remove Bernie Madoff from its upcoming Allen & Ginter Baseball insert set..."World's Biggest Hoaxes, Hoodwinks, and Bamboozles".
